A Letter from London is a new monthly newsletter, anchored by a leading strategic analyst and commentator of Indian origin, based in the heart of The City. It seeks to provide a macro perspective on the big shifts playing out around the world, that lie at the intersection of business, markets, economy and society. Wherever possible, it will also interpret what these changes could mean for business leaders in India interested in understanding the global cross-currents. The writer prefers to use the nom de plume Samuel Pepys, after the 17th century diarist, who wrote many accounts of London life, which have now become historical records, including his account of the Great Fire of London, considered as the key journal of record of the catastrophe. In some ways, Pepys was the original "Letter from London" columnist.
