Founding Fuel Publishing Private Limited (FFPPL) is the absolute owner of and maintains www.foundingfuel.com website, including all services offered hereon, (the website and the services are collectively referred to as the “Site”) and these Terms of Use govern your use of this Site. Please carefully read this Terms of Use, which includes the Privacy Policy. By using or accessing this Site, you represent that you have read, understood and agree to the Terms of Use in their entirety, including the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms of Use, including the Privacy Policy, then please do not use or access the Site. This service is provided on an “As Is” basis and is continually under development.

Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon notice thereof, which may be given by means including, but not limited to, posting within the Site, or by electronic or conventional mail, messaging, or by any other means by which you may obtain notice thereof. Any use of the Site by you subsequent to such notice shall be deemed to constitute your acceptance of the modifications or additions.
2. Right to Use this Site
FFPPL grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use this Site for your personal use but not for commercial use, subject to this Terms of Use. FFPPL reserves the right to suspend or terminate operation of this Site at any time for any reason without liability to you. FFPPL has the right to suspend or terminate the user and refuse any and all current or future use of the Site to you if you violate any part of this Terms of Use. FFPPL has the right to change or discontinue any aspect or feature of the Site, including, but not limited to, content, hours of availability, and equipment needed for access or use, at any time without notice or liability to you.
3. Copyright/Trademarks (Collectively “Intellectual Property Rights”)
The Site contains copyrighted material, trademarks and other proprietary information, including, but not limited to, text, software, photos, video, graphics, music, and sound, portions of which are owned by FFPPL and portions of which are owned by other parties and licensed to FFPPL. The entire contents of the Site are copyrighted as a collective work/compilation. FFPPL owns copyright in the selection, coordination, arrangement, and enhancement of such content, as well as in the content original to it. We permit the use of materials on this website subject to due credit is given to FFPPL. The use shall also be subject to non-commercial use and limited to personal or academic dissemination (including on social media and use on all kinds of media). Such use should not infringe on the Intellectual Property Rights of any person. When using material on this website, proper attribution to authors and/or copyright holders must be given. User is granted a limited, revocable and non exclusive right to create hyperlinks to the home page or any other page of FFPPL/Founding Fuel so long as any of these links do not portray FFPPL, Founding Fuel, videos, podcasts or products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory or offensive manner. You may not use FFPPL’s logos or proprietary graphics or trademarks as part of the link without express permission. User acknowledges that he/she does not acquire any ownership rights by downloading copyrighted material. All copyrights should be acknowledged.
4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- (a) User expressly agrees that use of the service is at user’s own risk. The Site is provided on an “As Is” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, other than those warranties which are incapable of exclusion, restriction or modification under the laws applicable to this agreement.
- (b) Neither FFPPL nor any of their respective employees, shareholders, agents, third-party content providers or licensors, warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error free; nor do they make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from use of the Site, or as to the accuracy, reliability or content of any information, site, or merchandise provided through the Site. It is your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy and completeness of all information, opinions and other material on the Site or any sites or services with which it is linked.
- (c) Price information and contents or features of the Site is subject to change without notice.
- (d) The Site links to or references sites, other services and information located worldwide throughout the internet. Because FFPPL has no control over such sites, other services and information, FFPPL makes no guarantee as to such sites, other services and information, including the accuracy, currency, content or quality of any such sites, other services and information and FFPPL assumes no responsibility as to whether a link or reference locates unintended or objectionable content. Furthermore, because some content on the internet consists of material that is adult-oriented or otherwise objectionable to some people, the results of a link or reference on the site may unintentionally generate links or references to objectionable material. FFPPL makes no claim that such surprises will not occur.
- (e) User specifically acknowledges that FFPPL is not liable for the defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other visitors or third parties and that the risk of injury from the foregoing rests entirely with the user.
- (f) This disclaimer of liability applies to any and all damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of records in the Site, whether for breach of contract, tortious behaviour, negligence, or under any other cause of action.

User hereby acknowledges that the provisions of this section shall apply to all content and features on the Site.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold FFPPL, officers, agents, directors, licensors, contractors and employees harmless from any claims, actions, costs, liabilities, expenses and damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, made against FFPPL by any third party due to or arising out of your use of this Site, your connection to this Site, your breach of any representation, warranty or obligation, your violation of this Terms of Use, or your violation of any rights of another user. FFPPL specifically disclaims any liability (whether based in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise) for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with access to or use of the Site, (even if FFPPL has been advised of the possibility of such damages) including liability associated with any viruses which may infect a user’s computer equipment.
6. Lawful Use
User shall use the Site for lawful purposes only. User shall not post or transmit through the Site any material which:
- violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others;
- is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane or otherwise objectionable;
- encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability or otherwise violates any law; or
- contains advertising or any solicitation with respect to products or services, unless FFPPL has expressly approved such material in advance of its transmission.
Any conduct by a User that in FFPPL’s discretion restricts or inhibits any other User from using or enjoying the Site is expressly prohibited.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
Users are invited to submit comments, questions, ideas, reviews or any other information concerning Founding Fuel and the website’s contents, provided they understand that such comments will be subject to moderation & FFPPL reserves the right to remove or edit such content. All such submissions should not be illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory or infringing on privacy or on intellectual property rights of others. FFPPL is under no obligation to review any messages, information or content posted on the Site by users & assumes no responsibility or liability relating to such postings. Notwithstanding the above, FFPPL may monitor the messages on the Site & may decline to accept and/or remove any Postings at FFPPL’s discretion.
7.1 Personal Data We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and profile information. Authentication is handled through secure, industry-standard protocols (OAuth 2.0, magic link email), and your session data is stored on our servers. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is collected via your explicit action. If you make a voluntary contribution via our support page, Razorpay processes your name, email, phone number, and GST number (if provided) strictly for payment processing and invoicing. With your consent, we collect analytics data including IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns through Google Analytics 4.
7.2 Technical Consent Implementation (Consent Mode v2)
In compliance with the DPDP Act and global privacy standards, our site utilises Google Consent Mode v2. By default, all consent categories (ad storage, analytics storage, ad user data, ad personalisation) are set to “denied” until you make an affirmative choice. If you click “Accept All,” consent is updated to “granted” and full analytical features are enabled. If you click “Reject All,” the denied state is maintained, Google tags operate in a restricted cookieless mode, and no personal identifiers are stored for analytics purposes.
7.3 Your Rights Under the DPDP Act
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent is designed to be as simple as giving it. You may change your preference at any time using the “Manage Cookie Preferences” link in our website footer. When you withdraw consent (by selecting “Reject All”), our system immediately updates the consent state to “denied” for all integrated scripts, analytics data collection ceases, and any locally stored tracking data (such as your reading history) is cleared from your browser. Core site functionality, including login, comments, and bookmarks, continues to work regardless of your cookie preference.
7.4 Data Retention

8. Confidentiality of User Communications
Except as required by law FFPPL will maintain the confidentiality of all user communications which contain personal user information & which are transmitted directly to FFPPL. Postings by a user on any message board or in any chat room will not be protected as confidential & FFPPL may use & provide information contained in any such postings (including any ideas, concepts, know-how or other intellectual property) to FFPPL for any purpose whatsoever & as deemed appropriate by FFPPL.
9. Linked Internet Sites
FFPPL prohibits caching, unauthorized hypertext links to the site & the framing of any content available through the Site. FFPPL reserves the right to disable any unauthorized links or frames & specifically disclaims any responsibility for the content available on any other internet sites linked to the site. Access to any other internet sites linked to the site is at the user’s own risk.
10. Access to Password Protected/Secure Areas
Access to certain areas of this Site is restricted. FFPPL reserves the right to restrict access to areas of this website, or indeed this entire website, at FFPPL’s discretion.
If FFPPL provides you with a user ID and password to enable you to access restricted areas of this website or other content or services, you must ensure that the user ID and password are kept confidential.
FFPPL may disable your user ID and password on the Site at its sole discretion without notice or explanation.
11. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by & construed in accordance with the laws of India. User access to & use of the Site is subject to all applicable laws.
12. Jurisdiction
In respect of all matters/disputes arising out of, in connection with or in relation to this agreement, only the civil courts at Mumbai, India shall have jurisdiction, to the exclusion of all other courts.
13. Publication
The website is deemed to be published from/at Mumbai, India (irrespective of where it is accessed from).
