Shlok is not a musician but wishes he was. He also wishes he was a grandmaster chess player, professional cyclist, astronaut and stand-up comedian. Instead he graduated in 2020 with a double degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and is now pursuing his PhD by studying the ways with which light interacts with matter in order to build quantum dot lasers and detectors. He was part of the core team that created the climate clock in Union Square that went viral during the pandemic. In 2014, Shlok was a speaker at TEDx where he presented A Novel Index for the screening of Thalassemia Minor.
