Shravan is a manager within RMI’s Climate Finance program in New York. His areas of focus are the coal-to-renewables transition, decarbonizing heavy industries, and blended finance. Prior to joining RMI in 2020, Shravan was a reporter with Power Finance and Risk, covering renewable energy project finance across the Americas. Before that, he obtained his master’s degree from Yale University’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, where he focused on financing renewable energy projects in developing countries. Shravan began his career as a journalist with Forbes India Magazine in Mumbai. He writes on public policy on Substack @shravanbhat
